Refunds & Subscriptions

Last updated:

How Kudobee Premium billing works, how to cancel, and how to request a refund.

How billing works

Kudobee offers a free plan and an optional Premium subscription (monthly or yearly). Premium can be purchased only from the parent area of the app. All payments are processed by Google Play under its own terms; Kudobee never sees or stores your full payment card details.

Free trial

Eligible new subscribers may be offered a free trial (currently 7 days). Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid plan and Google Play charges the price shown for your chosen plan. You can cancel any time during the trial in your Google Play account at no charge; cancelling during the trial keeps access until the trial period ends. Trial eligibility and length are determined by Google Play and may change.

Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. Google Play notifies you about upcoming charges according to its policies. If a renewal payment fails, Google Play may retry the charge during a short grace period; Premium access can pause or end if payment is not completed. If we change the price of an ongoing subscription, Google Play will notify you in advance and ask for your consent as required before the new price applies.

How to cancel

Canceling stops future charges. You keep Premium access until the end of the period you already paid for.

  1. Open Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions (or the app's Manage subscription screen, which opens the same page).
  2. Select Kudobee Premium.
  3. Choose Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Deleting (deactivating) your account from the app does cancel the subscription tied to it; you can still confirm in Google Play that no future charges are scheduled.

Refunds

Refunds for Kudobee Premium are handled by Google Play under the Google Play refund policy. In most regions you can request a refund directly from Google for a recent purchase:

  1. Visit Google Play's refund page and follow the steps for subscriptions, or
  2. Open your Google Play order history, find the Kudobee charge, and choose Request a refund.

If Google Play declines a request, or your situation is unusual (for example an accidental duplicate purchase or a billing error), contact support@kudobee.com with the Google Play order number and we will do our best to help. Statutory consumer rights in your country (including EU withdrawal rights, where applicable) are not limited by this page.

EU/UK right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. Because Premium and any free trial give you immediate digital access, by starting your subscription or trial you ask us to begin the service immediately and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once it has started. Google Play records this consent at the time of purchase. This does not affect your other statutory rights, your Google Play refund options, or your right to cancel future renewals.

What happens to your data

Canceling Premium or receiving a refund does not delete your account or your family's data. The family simply returns to the free plan and its limits. Data is retained and can be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy and on the Data Deletion page.
